One of my children asked me “Is Jesus coming back on 21 May 2011?” That was after reading in the news that someone had proclaimed that Jesus was returning on that date and urging people to get ready. It isn’t a surprise that every now and then, someone will make a forecast or prediction about the 2nd coming. I believe we need not be distracted by all the “noise” out there. Whilst we can see the signs from what is happening in the world pointing to us that Jesus is coming again soon, we all ought to focus on the task at hand because “no one knows about that day or the hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Matt 24:36
